Join the Chicago Parrothead Club for a fun outdoor social event at Herrick Lake in Wheaton, IL. Herrick Lake is a really pretty forest preserve with fishing, and tons of hiking and biking trails. We’ve rented the South Shelter which has picnic tables for 50 people and a fireplace.
Cheryl Wegner and Sharon Klupar are planning to cook a cast iron, dutch oven campfire lunch with Beef Stew and Cherry Cobbler for dessert. If you are a cast iron cook and you’d like to join in on the cooking, please let Cheryl Wegner know at cherylwegner9@gmail.com
Saturday Oct. 23 (following the highway clean up)
9 am-cooking will start
1 pm-lunch served

Location-the southeast corner of Butterfield and Herrick Roads in Wheaton. Parking lot is off Herrick Road, follow the signs to the south shelter.
