But add a Coral Reefer pedal steel legend to the mix, and by golly, it’s party time, and it’s a party you’ll not want to miss. Happy Thursday is the new Friday, Parrotheads!

With all of the excitement coming from Meeting of the Minds, we are also coming into the busy season for concerts and club events! With all of these great events comes those questions that bother you so.A lot of our Regional Communicators and Board Members travel to your club shenanigans and would love to be part of them. From this, we would love to accomplish a couple of things.1. Make sure you know who your Board members and RC's are! If we are present, we are happy to be pointed out so we can meet and greet everyone that we have not talked to or been introduced to.2. If you would like, and we are available, we are also happy to set aside time to participate in an informal meet and greet, regional meeting, business meeting, or whatever you can think up. A lot of club leaders and even club members have questions or just need some good face to face guidance. Many times we have had club leaders or event organizers ask us great questions individually that would be even better if heard by a group of Parrotheads!If we can be there and help, we will! But...we are not all business! We also like to enjoy your company and the event itself. We cannot attend everything, but we do our best to be available and present when we can. Summary of the PHiP Scholarship:The PHiP Bob Heffelfinger Memorial Scholarship is for current Parrot Head Club Members of an officially Chartered Chapter or their children of Parrot Head Club Members, for post secondary education. This program was established in 2008. Three scholarships will be awarded in 2023. Day #3 of registration brings us some interesting statistics.As you’re aware VIP has gone exceptionally quick. (See previous post) Last year we had 190 people register for VIP in the first 3 days. This year we have nearly 300 in less than 36 hours and only enough left to accommodate those staying in the VIP Condos.We have also crossed the line of 700 Registrations total, in less than 44 hours. Considering the data that I have going back to 2015 that makes it the 3rd fastest registration rate, slightly behind 2021, when we were coming out of COVID, and 2016 which was the 25th Anniversary.Normally, 700 would mean that we just crossed the 20% line. However, as the cap is 2800 this year that means we’ve sold out 25% of the event in less than 44 hours.I would not wait ‘till September to register if you plan on attending.Note: This also means that there are a lot of requests and corrections that we are still processing. Kicking off this year’s MOTM festivities on October 24th is our “Tuesday On The Island” Welcome Party at the world-famous LuLu's Gulf Shores. We couldn’t think of a more iconic location than the place that’s near and dear to Parrot Heads across the country.

The party starts at 1:00pm with this year’s MOTM Grand Marshal, the distinguished Mr. Brent Burns. If you’re not familiar with Brent and his music, well, you must be new. I’m fairly certain he’s been a Trop Rock staple since the genre was invented, and maybe even music itself. If you are familiar with Brent and his music you’ll understand why this is exactly how you want to start your week at MOTM.Shortly after Brent steps off stage at around 4:00pm, the 23 time TRMA Award winning Donny Brewer will do what he does best, as well as play a little music. Karavan Krashes into LuLus! #tuesdayontheisland

I love LuLu's and Donny Brewer. This is perfect.

We will be there! Already registered and paid for our MOTM "Fun Tickets"!

I'm sure it will be fun! Wish we could be back there.

Added an extra day to my rental so I can be there!

We will be there in Gulf Shores for 10 days over MOTM before we head down to KW for the following week to enjoy an unofficial one down there! At least that's the current plan!

Everything appears to be working with the website and the registration form.- If you have not received a confirmation of your registration, first double check your spam folder. If you still don't find it then check your bank or CC account to see if the transaction is there. Hopefully by now it is no longer under "pending". If you still cannot find it send and email to registration@motm.rocks If you ask for confirmation through Facebook it may or may not happen.- We will be reviewing yesterdays transactions for duplicate names. If there are duplicate names or duplicate transactions we'll be reaching out to you individually to make sure you receive what you expected. We are not Ticketmaster. We actually care. 😉VIP Update:- There are currently only around 30 VIP left available that are not associated to the VIP Room Packages. I'd be surprised if they last the rest of the day. After they are gone we will only have enough for those staying in VIP Lodging.- There is not an unlimited number of VIP set aside, so if you're rooming with someone that's purchased a VIP Package it's in your best interested to get registered sooner than later.- You do not need to be VIP to stay in VIP Lodging. If you purchase a VIP lodging package with multiple rooms it is perfectly alright if those using the other rooms have general registration.- If you have any other issue that you need help with regarding your VIP Lodging Package send an email to motmdoc@phip.com and we'll get it figured out.- Changes and corrections may not happen immediately. Please be patient. General Registration:If yesterday was any indication how registration will go this year the event should be pretty well attended. The pace is already faster than the last two years. We should know after today is selling out at 2800 will be part of the conversation this year.- From the looks of it the Shuttle Pass may sell out before registration does. So, if you intend to utilize the shuttle you may want to register sooner than later.Club Membership Confirmations:I will start sending out confirmations April 1st (or there abouts)- Those of you that may not be current have until then to make sure your membership is so that your Club leader can verify you.- You will not receive a notification from MOTM that your club leader has confirmed you. Phip Board of Durectirs and especially Suzanne Calhoun . Thanks so much for getting everything fixed yesterday. You did a yeoman's job in a super tough situation. Virtual fist bumps to all of you fir what promises to be a great experience!

Finally got registered. CC is charged. No confirmation on email yet. Nothing in Spam . Will recheck in the Morning again before I check things out more.
