The Chicago Parrot Head Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist in community outreach programs and to provide for its members a means of social interaction for people interested in Jimmy Buffett's music and tropical spirit.
We meet monthly at the Elmhurst Pub every third Wednesday of the month. Please join us!

January Meeting/Food Drive - January 18With the holidays over, many local food pantries will be bare. At the January meeting, we will be collecting canned/boxed food goods to help replenish the coffers.
Party in ParrotDise - April 13 - 14
Party in ParrotDise, CPHC's annual fundraising event, will take place the weekend of April 13th and 14th, 2012 at the DoubleTree Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Downers Grove. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society. It will be a fun weekend filled with music, margaritas, dancing, margaritas, raffle prizes, margaritas and good old-fashioned Parrot Head craziness! The weekend kicks off on Friday night with Mr. Myers playing (at a venue yet to be finalized...we'll let you know) and continues on Saturday with happy hour with Frank Whiting in the afternoon, followed by South of Disorder and Pirates Over 40 at the big party that evening. We'll have many beautiful prize baskets to be raffled off on Saturday night, along with 50-50 raffles and a drawing for a t-shirt quilt, lovingly crafted by our own Micky O'Connor. With all that merry-making, why miss a minute of it? Stay close to the action at the DoubleTree so you're never far from the party, even the unofficial ones that happen by the pool, in the hotel bar, some unfortunate victim's room, etc. It will also keep you off the streets and safe from the local police who might be looking for someone who's had a little too much fun! A block of rooms has been set aside for our group at the hotel. The rates are $95/night for a 2-room suite with a king bed and it includes breakfast. When calling to make your reservation, please tell them that you are with the "Chicago Parrot Head" group to take advantage of our group rate. If you book online, use the group code "MCP."
